Chapter 24  Resign! Go to my company!

‘Mr. Lu, I’m sorry!’

He murmured obediently and lost all his arrogant attitude.

Sangyu Qin was startled by his move, while thinking that all the people in city G were indeed ruthless. Even this Liang Bai, who looked that greasy, had his tough side.

‘What do you think about it?’

Liangcheng Lu turned his head suddenly and watched Sangyu Qin. He seemed to be waiting for her response.

With her lip curled, she put her hand on his arm.

‘My dear, forget about it.’

Everyone in city G had his own rules of living. The law of jungle comes from human’s nature. After all, she did hit Liang Bai today. Maybe Liang Bai deserved to be killed by Liangcheng Lu, but this should not be owing to her.

‘Hum, it’s up to you.’

Liangcheng Lu, with mysterious light in his eyes, fixed her hair beside her ears. The strong aura made everyone take a step back.

No one dare to utter a single word. Even those who made every effort to flatter Liang Bai shut their mouth too.

Mr. Zhang, surprised as he was, saw Liangcheng Lu watching his staff so gently, with his eyes almost falling onto the ground.

Liang Bai was exactly like Sangyu Qin just now, high and dry.

‘Go home.’

Liangcheng Lu, squinting his eyes, uttered these two words. He pulled Sangyu Qin away and left.

Watching his back, Sangyu Qin suddenly found that he’s not that annoying anymore, except for his vicious tongue.

The car had already waited outside. Sangyu Qin entered in tardily and saw Liangcheng Lu putting his head against the window. He seemed to seek some coldness to dispel his anger.

She could feel this man’s anger though she didn’t know why. However, even someone like Liang Bai didn’t have the guts to say anything in front of him, let alone a rookie like her.

She finally concluded that the secret of surviving in city G was playing up to Liangcheng Lu.

Liangcheng Lu waved his hands toward Yu Mo, with his eyes opening slowly.

The car stopped abruptly. Yu Mo who was driving walked out of the car straightly. Nevertheless, without Liangcheng Lu’s permission, he didn’t dare to open the car door. So he waited outside reverently.

Liangcheng Lu watched Sangyu Qin’s dress and frowned severely. He reached out his hands and tore it into two pieces.

‘What are you doing?!’

Sangyu Qin flew into rage all of a sudden. She put her hands in front of her chest and stared at Liangcheng Lu angrily.

    Liangcheng Lu hang up his edge of mouth and glanced at her up and down.

‘Which part of your body haven’t I seen?’

Sangyu Qin thought about that time when she fainted in the bathroom and she had been looked thoroughly by this person. She flushed instantly.

However, Liangcheng Lu wasn’t talking about that time. He meant that night when Sangyu Qin walked into the wrong room. Although he was drunk, he knew that this woman possesses a perfect figure. Her body shape is curvy with the immature flesh around it, which captured people’s imagination even more.

‘Bam!’

Liangcheng Lu, without looking at her, threw a new dress onto Sangyu Qin.

‘Put it on.’

Sangyu Qin thought that this person was so insane. It’s just a dress and he tore it into pieces with his bare hands. The people who didn’t know what happened would think that they were so desperate in the car.

She put on the dress angrily and found that this one’s more conservative than the last one. It covered all her legs, not to mention her boobs.

Liangcheng Lu gave his orders, and only until then did Yu Mo open the door.

Liangcheng Lu bent his body slightly and walked out of the car without waiting for Sangyu Qin who was after him.

Sangyu Qin could only follow him blindly. She was so confused why Liangcheng Lu would show up there tonight.

They both entered the living room. Liangcheng Lu sat on the couch spontaneously and grabbed the newspapers nearby to read.

Sangyu Qin stayed put for a while, and then walked over bashfully. Anyway, this person helped her today and she owned him a thanks.

‘Thanks, Liangcheng Lu.’

Liangcheng Lu, without raising his head, made a slightly snort.

The snort was like a sharp knife stabbing into Sangyu Qin’s heart.

Sangyu Qin didn’t know whether she should stand or sit. She found that it’s too hard to kiss up to Liangcheng Lu. He’s completely a stone.

‘Do you want to eat midnight snack? I could make you some.’

The saying goes that the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

Liangcheng Lu didn’t even look at her. He knew that Sangyu Qin was trying to play nice. So what? There were numerous people who tried to play nice to him in city G, and anyone of them would be more sincere than Sangyu Qin.

‘Resign. Go to my company.’

He, without raising his head, flipped over the newspaper in his hands.

Sangyu Qin couldn’t get a hint of his ideas. Well, she couldn’t stay in her company anymore. Mr. Zhang just completely sold her out tonight.

‘OK.’

She took a deep breath and answered.

Only by then did Liangcheng Lu smile a bit. The shadow covered on him seemed to disappear all of a sudden.

‘May I go upstairs now?’

Sangyu Qin uttered these words awkwardly. She found that she’s too afraid to do anything before this boss opened his mouth. She really learned this man’s power tonight.

A mere trace of smile flashed in Liangcheng Lu’s eyes when he saw her like an extremely-frightened bird. With her bright eyes lighting upon him, he seemed to release all his anger.

Sangyu Qin’s eyes were full of magic. When she looks at you, you are dying to pick off the stars on the sky for her.

This well-behaved Sangyu Qin made him in a good mood.

After receiving his order, Sangyu Qin turned away and went upstairs. When she was on the halfway, the male lion walked with elegant steps and happened to go downstairs.

Sangyu Qin’s heart nearly lifted to her throat. Although she ran away last time, it’s a male lion after all. She wouldn’t have a chance to struggle if it pounced on her.

The lion, gazing at her, didn’t move. Its brown eyes, just like copper bells, seemed fixing on its prey.

‘Da Xiong, behave yourself.’

When the two words “Da Xiong” came out, Sangyu Qin felt that her lips shook. Is this powerful Mr. Lu a fan of Doraemon by naming a lion this?

The lion stamped its feet angrily. It seemed not satisfied with this name and rushed at Liangcheng Lu.

As Sangyu Qin thought that this lion would get angry, she looked up and saw it wag its tail and rub Liangcheng Lu fawningly with its head.

Her eyes almost fell onto the floor. Wasn’t it too undignified for a lion to do something like this? It seemed like the lion had lost its brutish nature in this huge villa and was just like a pet dog.

Sangyu Qin thought that. Nevertheless, after seeing Da Xiong’s cruelty in the later time, she just wished she could never get involved with it.

She turned to upstairs then. She was frightened into cold sweats, so she went straight to the bathroom after entering the room, and bathed herself in the bathtub.
